Kavish Shah

Kavish Shah, of Lilavati Podar High School, performed above our expectations in the recently concluded MSSA Inter-School Chess Championship at Dadar to finish 10th in the Under-14 section with a score of 7/9. The field in this 200+ player was very strong with participation of many FIDE rated players. Kavish Shah scored a crucial win in the penultimate round over FIDE rated Aditya Sukhlecha (his ICS batch mate!). Aditya finished 11th and missed the prize list. Wishing Kavish many more successes!
