We are though 7-rounds of the ICS 3rd Mumbai Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament being held at the Don Bosco High School, Matunga and still no leader has been spotted!!

IM Aditya Udeshi

On the top-board fierce fighting was witnessed between IM Aditya Udeshi and Sagar Shah wherein the former survived the onslaught of Sagar Shah to draw the game.

This allowed the top-seeded, IM Vikramaditya Kamble to join the lead by scoring victory over Amardeep Bartakke. He is now on a three-way tie with Aditya and Sagar with a score of 6.5/7.  Naturally, we are now heading for the summit clash!!

For the spectators, this is the round they are waiting for as IM Aditya Udeshi would be clasing with IM Vikramaditya Kamble in the 8th and penultimate round and IM norms holder, Sagar Shah taking on Nubairshah Shaikh.
